We have fibre optics available at 600MB allowing for remote workers and digital nomads to feel comfortable with their internet access. Surfing, online conversations on Zoom, Teams, Webex and Netflix streaming is available on the main TV.
Yes there is. The property has are parking spaces outside the property. It is a quiet cul-de sac with plenty of space.
Standard procedure is at 15:00. However, do let us know when exactly your time of arrival is and we will be as proactive as possible. If we can allow you to occupy the property earlier we will. Remember that perhaps guests departing that day leave at 12:00, at the latest, so we do need to clean and freshen up the property to provide you with the best experience.
We know!!! Departing is always tough! Standard procedure is 12:00, at the latest, so we can freshen up and clean in advance of other guests arrivals that same day. However let us know in advance what your exact departure time is and we will be as flexible and accommodating as possible.
Within a 2 minute car drive the area of La Longera boasts different restaurants, bars, pharmacy, opticians, supermarkets, boutiques…everything is there to make your stay as comfortable as possible. It is walkable (steep uphill for 10/12 minutes).
We do not encourage pets at our properties but given certain personal circumstances and the type of pet we are willing to be accommodating.
Yes there is a BBQ facility. You will need to buy coal and lighters once you arrive.
The property runs on 220v and has two pin plug system installed. If you re visiting from the UK please bring three point plugs with you.
Yes of course. We have cots available should you need them and can provide initial baby necessities on arrival.

After spending 2 weeks in the South of Tenerife, it was such a pleasant surprise to have found Puerto de La Cruz. An amazing city, with fabulous restaurants, a lot of culture and some reasonable Golf Courses not very far away. The house was spotless, with great views, a lovely swimming pool (always warm) and fantastic hosts. My only regret was not to have spent our entire month at this place as I was not impressed with the South of the Island at all. Another big surprise for us, as Canadians, was how inexpensive Tenerife was. We ate out everyday at wonderful restaurants, much more reasonably than eating at home! Overall it was a great experience that I highly recommend to anyone in search of an amazing holiday! Thank you Kati and Marcos!
“It was the best vacation ever. We booked the house in last minute, but everything was ready for us. The warm pool was amazing. The view was so nice and relaxing. The house was so clean and nice and bright. The place was nice and quiet, but near the city. There are nice eating places near. We liked the most La Tomato. I would definitely recommend the house with so lovely host. 5 stars from us and we definitely would like to come back in some day :)”
“We spent our very first vacation as a family at Kati’s place and we loved everything about it! Kati is an outstanding host and her home is all you can wish for. She kindly provided us with a high chair, Chicco travel bed, baby blanket etc for our 6 month old son. The pool is fantastic and the garden too – the view is even better than on the photos. You have an amazing view of the ocean and on a clear day you can even see the top of Mount Teide! The house is situated in a quiet peaceful street with walking distance to restaurants and beautiful hiking trails. Baby sling is recommended but it is also possible to walk to the nearest village with a stroller. Thanks Kati for everything, we hope to be back again soon!”
